Hey don't forget to send me the file for the flag. Once I get it I will get a price on what it would cost..

Thanks..

Sorry I wasn't there Monday, still recovering from muscle spasms in my left side. I was doubled over in pain periodicallly through Sunday evening.. Teach me to forget to stretch.

I know exactly what you mean. i am still trying to get the shutter thing and ISO and aperture settings down! I don't like "freeze" pictures because they can look posed so I allow a little blur to show the motion. I took 365 pics at a black belt test on saturday. It was so much fun, but I probably only got a small percentage of really good pics...

Aren't digital cameras great? I learned on the film cameras.... I bought bulk rolls and generic canisters. Then I developed my own film and printed my own photos in my makeshift darkroom in my bathroom. Good old days! It's so much more convenient these days.

As for avoiding "freeze" photos, You can "pan" your camera, i.e., follow the image in your lens and click while your camera is moving. If you follow your image seadily, the movement is in the background while the subject is relatively clear. You can practice this by taking photos of cars passing by.

I have spent the last year as a reporter for the Collegian at Tarrant County College and have just been hired as contributing reporter with the Shorthorn at University of Texas Arlington. I am taking a photojournalism class and will take the next level photojournalism class next semester. I have interest in photography and love taking pics of the TKD family of our martial art school and am considering an officer position as Historian at the Martial Arts Club at UTA.

That's great!

I don't work professionally as a photographer. But many of my photos have been published in the American Samurai magazine. I like taking action photos. But I also like the arts images. Action photos just takes practice. If you're into sparring, you can time a lot of the clicks with the techniques by being part of the match mentally. It gets frustrating sometimes when you see an opening and you know that a techniques should have been executed, but they miss the opportunity. As for the forms, it helps to know all the forms so you know which way they will be moving and when the apex of the techniques will be.

Just have fun with it. You can add pictures, change colors, past video codes. It took me a few days to get my profile up.

Great.  It took me a few minutes to find my way back to this page to check comments. ha ha.  Well, perhaps this weekend I can get my profile up and running.  It was nice to meet you.
