After 40 something breaks you have to dig deep. It is surreal watching the video now. You go into that test wired. Our Black belt testing starts at 6:30am when the sun rises, our Grand Master's tradition. By the time you get to the breaks your mind is in another place. Then we end with sparring multiple opponents. I got home thinking I would be exhausted instead I was on such a natural high.
