Ok, so there is this tournament I want to go to called JPark hosed by JPark. I know that my mom didn't want me to go becauce I have a lot of work already But because there are very few tournaments in Alaska I realy want to go and sparr maybe win maybe get beat up! She said I could go but I know that she still doesn't think that I shoulg go.... I don't know what to do!!!!
All I can say is try your best to convince her. Try to get everything done that you need to and hope that it will be enough. Hopefully it will be enough. If not then I'd just keep watching for the next opportunity.
Sounds likegreat advice i'll try to remember it, Thanks!
I would go, especially if tournaments are rare, but see what your mom is worried about first, if you talk to her about it she may have some valid concerns.
Thanks for the commet but it's not so much house work as it is what I am all ready doing at tkd, plus because I am in middle school I am having a lot of homework as the schools realy try to get us ready for high school. But still thanks for your reply!

As Ms. Gillette states, do the best job you can on your responsibilities at home. Help your parents out as much as possible. If you are putting in the effort around the house, as a parent I can tell you, letting you go to a tournament is an easy decision for your folks.
Well, as long as you have some of your work done, I wouldn't see a problem with it. If she said you could go, then I would go. She might be concerned that you could get injured. You could ask her what her concerns are and try to ease her mind (you might want to invite her along to watch and cheer).
