Honeymoon over, time to get back to training

Well, my wedding went amazingly, and the honeymoon was fantastic (facebook friends can view pics if they want!) but now its back to training.

I went for a quick 4 mile run yesterday to get back into it and i am aching loads! Gym tomorrow morning then first proper tkd training tomorrow night.

I have a grading next month (1st Kup) and the british regionals in november so lots to work towards!!

 

I am looking forward to it all though!

Yes up to 4 miles now. I actually do about 7 but need a 5-10 break inbetween and i have a dodgy back and it hurts a bit too much.

Its only taken a few months of not really that dedicated work to get up to 4. At the moment i am doing 3x4 mile runs, 1x7 mile run on the weekend and 3x2 mile runs to fill in the week. I must say my general stamina has improved and i find sparring much easier.

welcome back.  you are up to 4 miles now???  how long has it been since you started running?  it's been about 2 weeks for me, and i'm still taking my sweet time to do 2 miles.
