It is rare for Mr Archer to give doubles, especially at a higher grade. I wouldnt know from him personally as I am not allowed to be graded by him as he is my instructor.

My black tag would be in September with the next black belt grading (bar the one 2 months later which would be a bit soon!) would be in april. Mr Archer now has about 7 red and black tag students so there will be a fair few of us doing in April.

Congrats once again, you really did do well!! Might see you at the region comp in a few months!

Aww, that would be well cool if we both did our black belt together. How long have u got til ur black tag grading?

A black belt told me that it was an even bigger compliment for me to get  a double promotion because Mr Archer doesnt believe in it! I couldn't believe it when he told me!

How often do you train?

the standard warm up is 30 press ups, then sit ups, star jumps, back extensions (which i cant do), with 7-10 laps between each, then same again with 20, then 10. Then it changes every week- normally depending on how much we have annoyed Ms Mulgrew! (we once made the mistake of taking the piss out of her bike- it hurt for days

You ended up in warrington when you were heading for sale? I think a satnav would be a good investment!

But you should certainly try the altringham club some time. I know your strength is patterns but sparing such a variety of blackbelts (and there are some skillled lower belts too) does wonders for your sparing. But the warm up is a killer; In work they know not to ask me for anything on Friday mornings!
