Hi Sir, how are you. Has Master Perry let you know that the testing and seminar has been cancelled for now. I e-mailed him twice, but I need to call him and make sure he got the message. We have very few ready to test and only a few confirmed for the seminar. I do want to thank you for being willing to come all the way over here. Hopefully we can get it reschedualed for a later date.
Are you coming over to Warman's on the 3rd and 4th of October? Master Perry and myself (Master Place) will be there.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you are talking about. It may be possible, though, I need to check my schedule. Please send me a message with full details.
Thank you sir as always for the phone call last night. Sorry I keep missing you. It's next to impossible to reach me by phone, but I certainly appreciate you continuing to try and passing on what is working for you with the marketing. We have been hitting it hard here. I finally managed to get my foot in the door at two Elementary Schools where we did a "Welcome Back" for the teachers and staff with ice cold drinks on their last workday before school started. I also gave each teacher 5 VIP cards to use as prizes in their classrooms. Just a little last minute name recognition thing before the kids came back. Hopefully it's just the beginning of a working relationship with them. We won't get to see you at Nationals, the girls have a Soccer game that day and I'm running for School Board and have a Parade and a Festival I have to attend. Take Care Sir and please keep those ideas coming.
Thank you Sir for the 30 sec. marketing blitz. I started getting the cards out the next day. I think 30 new people all at once would be an exciting change from what the economy around here has provided us with lately. That other change is going to be a very hard sell though. Tell that baaaaad lady of your's congrats on the testing for me please. As always thank you Sir for your leadership. Mr. Warman
Hey, hey, hey ! ! ! I tried to e-mail you again but some days this computer is so sensitive that I accidently delete my writings. I wll talk to you later. See you soon,
Master Place
Always a pleasure to hear from you Sir! I really like your first book selection! "I am a person, no matter how small". What's up with the NPTA website? &nb sp; &nb sp; Mr. Warman
We haven't received your CAMP OUTBACK entry, yet. EVERYBODY else will be here. What's up?
I'm sorry but I wont be able to attend because I already committed myself to something on that weekend that I cant back out of. I really wish I could because it sounds like a blast. Hopefully next year!!!
Woo! Well done! It's lovely to get awards isn't it... a real bonus! Also makes me feel more responsible! I don't go on this site alot but here I am... hello! Hugs! Mish xx
It's taken me a couple of years of fiddling with a business plan, doing tons of homework and tinkering with a vision for a studio of my own, to really think through how I felt about a lot of issues and trends in the martial arts world.
It didn't take too long to apply conventional business knowledge I learned in high school about 'doing it the old fashioned way, one satisfied customer at a time', and look at the current trends in business, and realize that the prevalent quantity based model, of offering a million things to everyone, might be like hooking a balloon up to an air compressor. (It might blow up nice and big quick... but it's gonna pop sooner or later, and then you're left with debries)
So that's about the time I decided that if I open, I just want to stick with my specialty... maybe sprinkle in other things as 'pleasant surprises' for students to keep things fresh, but keep the focus on Taekwondo, and use the extra time I have, to actually spend it with the individual students, honing techniques and helping them make those techniques theirs, rather than spilling a ton of everything on them so they know a bunch of stuff but master none of it.
We'll see how that vision really pans out... but I like how my gut feels about it.
