I like to read funny fiction, I'm writing a funny book for women predominantly, I also write poetry and have some published. And of course TKD. Other than that my life has no time for anything else.

Won the womens Gold for sparring a couple of years ago but have since given up tournaments-thats not why I took up TKD, tourneys just aren't important to me.

Weapons of the Martial Arts, TaeKwonDo Females

Hi, I'm a mum of two girls, one is nine the other three years old. Decided to take up TKD when my eldest started to be bullied, suggested to her that we become 'Charlies angels' three years on, we are well on the way for Black belt.
I don't take life too seriously-I work as a support worker to people with dementia-you have to have a sense of humour!

Hard enough for me to remember just one Mother's Day, let alone the multitude that must exist outside this country!

I think its ace you sent me the message-I have pointed it out to my family!!!!(along with pointing out the kettle for my mothers day cup of tea!!!)

Oi!  Your family had better be pampering you!  "If Mom ain't happy...   Ain't no one happy!"

All Mom's should be celebrated!  DAILY!  (or so my wife keeps reminding me )

Wow, you're black tags already?  Nice one!  I just got my red belt in March, so won't be grading for black tag until October.
Training is going well, although I haven't been able to dedicate myself to it quite as much as I would have liked, due to having to organise the wedding!  Chris has drifted from his TKD training a bit, but he's been doing it since he was 12 so I think he's just looking for something new!  He's started ninjitsu training, but still trains in TKD maybe once a week.  He also teached TKD 3 times a week at his own club, which is going great!

Oh, by the way - when I told you it was 6 weeks 'til the wedding I must have lost a week somewhere, because it's actually 5 weeks!  Chris corrected me yesterday and I was like, "What, FIVE WEEKS??" PANIC!!!

Ouch!  My minivan had a 20 gallon tank and that was only about 73 to fill!

Good!  I just got a new car, my younger son started TKD, and we have class tonight!  All is right with the world!

cool, it sounds like you are having a great day. New car hey, what did you get??

Is your youngest very excited about starting TKD? I wish him well with his training.

I got a Chevrolet Cobalt; underneath, its the same as an Opel Astra.  It has a 2.2l four with 158 horsepower.  Nice and quick, with good gas mileage! 25/35!

Connor is excited.  He had his first class last Friday and he liked it a lot!  I've been working with him on the basic form at home.  Once school is out, he'll be going more often.

When I asked what car you got i kinda meant what colour!!!  (Girl questions)!!You see, i didn't really understand much of what you said about your vehicle apart from its almost the same as a vauxhall astra (opel is france??) I used to have an astra-loved it-it was blue!! Lets get off the car thing-I'm quite ridiculously pathetic when it comes to talking cars. When it comes of talking petrol/diesel/gas, I'm affraid us Brits are just seriously ticked off with being ripped off-my car used to do alot of miles with a tank full-but its costing me $80 to fill the tank now (lasts about a week)!!

Ah, good on your little lad-my youngest can't wait to join, but she is only 3, september next year is the earliest, she has a go at home though. She loves it.

Ah!  Its slate blue and Opel in Ireland.

Starting at three?  She'll be a master by 13!
