Learned Taegeuk forms in my first school (in college) before moving from that area.
Now trained in Taegeuk and Palgwe forms as well as Koryo
My favorite aspect of Taekwondo are the forms, since they can provide a great full body workout.
This site (as small as it may seem now), seems to provide an encouraging atmosphere (from what I've seen). That's very refreshing considering the amount of ego and politics that go behind some martial artists and their schools.
ABOUT ME
Songs Currently Stuck In My Head:
I was born in NYC, but spent most of my time in Pennsylvania. I’m considered a “health freak” by some (though, there’s nothing freakish about it). I’m an enthusiast of most forms of exercise, especially martial arts (of course), outdoor running, jumping rope and weight training.
DENVER—"When Daniel first showed up, he was like many of the kids we see – timid and unsure of himself. But look at him now: he's gone" said Finkelstein's former Sensei.
have you ever tried HIT (high intensity training) before? since may/june, i had injury after injury, and i'd been to the gym maybe 20 times since then. seeing how i was stuck lifting same weight foe couple months before that, i figured couple months of HIT would be a good way to get back into it. got couple months before gym closes for christmas, so this should work out quite well.
