Got started in martial arts late in life, age 21. I started at the US TKD College in Arlington, VA with Master Kang. Three years into my training, during by Black Belt preparation, I take time off for the birth of my son.
Kicking everything in sight, I realize that I have to resume my training. I walk into a brand new Hapkido school right up the street from my house. For the next 3+ years I train under Grandmaster Yong Sung Lee. I'm again on the verge of Black Belt promotion when I am uprooted and relocate back to Massachusetts.
It seems Hapkido is not as easy to find as TKD, go figure! I end up at Gonsalves TKD, training under Grandmaster Joseph Gonsalves. Ten years and a couple of Dans later, I'm still here. I teach, I coach, but now my focus is primarily my son, Alex.
Inspired daily by martial artists Master Ross and Team New England/Harvard Coach Michael Tang to work hard and live the TKD dream!

The software that the site has been running has been upgraded and all the profile, gallery, and some background picture files did not carry over with the upgrade.
