Hi, The only thing I have really been practising the last couple of days is my Korean-but to be honest, what I don't know now I will never know!
I'm here at the gyn, waiting for the grading, I got here a little early so I could warm up and prepare mentally! Yeah right-I'm so nerbvous, but at least today I feel fine-no dizzyness!!!
Not long until your grading then! I'm sure you will do great-its not all about strength-my upper body strength isn't great either. But were I faulter in some places I'm better in others.
Good luck for your grading-let me know how you get on.
Ooh, have you a date for your grading day? Do you feel ready?
I went to class tonight and i feel quite privilaged, my instructor has invited me to grade on Saturday. I thought I would have to wait another month so feeling quite lucky.
I think its great that you have recently taken up TKD, more and more mums it seems, are taking it up with their children-there are certainly a few mums in my club. We all seem to be dragging the children there though, I know for my club the mums are more hyped to do the class than the kids! Although saying that, now my daughter Mollie has got her black tag, its given her another push, she was starting to feel stagnant wiith her training.
Hi again-just thought, that didn't even answer your question!! It was an ear infection! The day before I had woke with a sore throat but thought nothing of it, the day after my giddy head, I had stiff neck and headache-so something was trying to grab hold of me! I feel almost back to normal now-still got bit of ear ache but generally well!
Hi, Got your message on my blog-I woke up giddy, thought maybe it was just lack of sleep from night before, hoped it was, so went back to sleep for another hour, got up still feeling the same, my balance was off, so I had shower thought if I act normal it would go away-had some breakfast, waited until as late as possible but cancelled. There was no way i would have been up to standard-can you imagine trying to do spinning kicks with a giddy head! I would have looked rubbish. There is a silver lining though-I have spoke to my instructor and he has more grading dates coming up-so fingers crossed I will go to one of those instead.
How are you finding TKD-I think I was hooked before I even started!
Thank you so much for the comment and encouragement in response to my blog. You are right in that I won't give up...some may call it pure stubborness! Anyway, I really appreciate what you had to say and it made me feel better about the situation.
