my master back in korea made us do all that, including running up to the mountain near by at 6am everyday (took about 90 minutes), but never had to "pass" the requirement to go to kukkiwon. i remember my master would make me and few others to do 100 sit ups and 50 pushups after every class when i was like 7-8. of course, those few others all went to university doing tkd and now are coaches and demo team for highschools and military, while i'm sitting here eating my donuts. (donutS indicate that i eat more than one at a time) testing at kukkiwon is easy, just a matter of staying calm - testing there for the first time with hundred of others can be intimidating for some.
i'm pretty sure i check this site like every hour and get the shakes if i don't. but my points compared to others says otherwise. maybe i'm not applying myself...
