Class went very well today. We practiced a lot of different blocks. We focused on the hopping front kick. I saw students who couldn't get the technique at first blossom and did very well. We also learned a few new stretches and a technique to help build strength in the hip flexors.
There are several tournaments coming up in a few weeks. I have been weight training, doing cardio stuff, stretching, practicing forms, and other things. If the weather permits, I will be going to four tournaments with the first one starting on March 15. I'm looking forward to these.

I bought a DVD titled "Battle Warrior" starring Tony Jaa. It has decent martial arts action and included bloodthirsty zombies. The plot wasn't the greatest, but it kept my interest for the whole viewing.

I trained yesterday and today. My knee isn't as sore and feels like it is getting stronger. The workouts are definitely helping it (along with the whirlpool). I just have to work on making it stronger.
Training went well today. The knee isn't sore at all. Now, the weather service put us under a winter storm watch for tomorrow (which we have Tae Kwon Do class that is 14 miles away). We'll have to see how it goes. If the schools cancel, then we cancel (which is getting to be a pain since all we have are snowstorms every week). I think we could use a long break and send this stuff to the southeastern U.S. which needs the snow, rain, and sleet for the water content. Oh well, we shall see!
I just finished 30 minutes of cardio plus 30 minutes of stretching, kicking, push-ups, and sit-ups. My knee just a little sore so I'll go soak it in the whirlpool bathtub (I had it installed a year ago in January). It's been a godsend for the knee.
I had a good training day. I did 45 minutes of weight training, 30 minutes of cardio, and 15 minutes of stretching. All in all, I say it was a good day and no soreness in the knee.
I was supposed to go to class, but the weather didn't cooperate with us. We had blowing and drifting snow with vehicles in the ditches all over the place. I decided to stay home and practice at home (which was ok).
I'm overcoming a nasty knee injury and just started light weight training. The knee did very well, but there are some exercises that bother it. I just have to go slow and progress from there. I'm also trying to get ready for some tournaments, too.
