Me, jog, are you crazy.....
Posted On 04/03/2008 04:32:12 by tkdq
I've just decided to take up jogging!

The nights are lighter later, so when I'm not working in the evening I'm off out the door, dragging Mollie with me for a jog around the village.

I wasn't built to run (a little too top and bottom heavy!!). So have woken this morning a little achy (might just be because I'm over thirty now and not just because of said large bottom!!)

Is it just me who has hard time jogging outside, because on a treadmill I can run for what seems like an age, but once I'm out in the elements its a different matter, the fresh air down my lungs, the rough terrain, I don't last long at all.

Oh well, I will persevere, I will not give up. I'm hoping that come next week (probably the week after) I will be able to run the course twice over before getting wheezy and tomato like in the face!!!

Is Mollie you dog?  I think I would run more outside if I had a dog.  I run on the treadmill.  It's in front of the TV so instead of sitting on couch to watch I try to use it.

I know running is the best for me to lose inches around the spot that sits on that couch LOL ... but it's not my favorite thing to do.

With the weather getting warmer I'll be doing the same thing.  It's good to see your cardio endurance improve along the way ... you'll notice it more by jogging outdoors.  Keep it up!

Good luck to you with your jogging.  I will do just about anything but run, so kudos to you!
