I competed in the 2008 U.S. Open Metropolitan TKD Championships on 04/19/2008 held in Bettendorf, IA. It was a good competition. I competed in forms, board breaking, and sparring. I received 3rd place in board breaking and am very happy with the result. After sparring, I'm drained because I sparred a lot of females. They were good competitors. Well after talking to my mom we deciced that I am not going to go to JPark. It's not that my mom or I am afraid of me getting hurt, What my mom is thinking about is my education in both school and tkd. Ahhh!!! I'm nervous and fustrated. A week ago at work I was doing my job when I felt a pop. I knew it wasn't good so I called my boss right away. He took me to the nurse and from there to the doctor. There my fears were confirmed. I have a hernia, not just one, but two. I am fustrated because I am off work and bord out of my mind. I can't train or do any thing fun. I am nervous because I am having surgery on Monday. I have never had surgery so I don't really know what to expect. O... Read More
