Tournament hosting
Posted On 03/04/2008 21:12:18 by SBaxter
A tournament fell in my lap.  I remember the day.  It seemed like any day at a tournament meeting before the event.  Talk about what to do for this event and where the next couple of tournaments were going to be held.

Then they turned their eyes on me.

Class went very well today.  We practiced a lot of different blocks.  We focused on the hopping front kick.  I saw students who couldn't get the technique at first blossom and did very well.  We also learned a few new stretches and a technique to help build strength in the hip flexors.... I copied this from my Myspace.  I put this blog up last year and figured I'd share it with you all here.  I am now second dan, but it is always good to look back on where I've been.  Please keep in mind that this was posted on a non ma site, so I had to go into a bit more explanation about dan ranks than I would normally go into here.
