Natalie is 10 now She's been doing TKD for 2 years and has just got her red-stripe She did gymnastics for 4 years before that and was in the Welsh Squad, so her flexibility etc has come in great for sparring, she took to TKD like a duck to water, it's done so much for her self confidence etc, She's doing really well at comps (loves competing) and won silver at the World Champs last year. She has a page here too, I really should get round to updating it...............................
Cool - 3 weeks till the grand opening then, make sure you invite the local press, loads of free publicity (I used to work for a newspaper - I know how they work!) My 7 year old - well he also plays football, he did great at TKD and got his green-stripe belt then began to lose interest. I've tried everything I can think of to get him back. His sister is a natural as she is at all sport and has excelled her way through her belts. There was one grading where I just wouldn't let him do it as he wasn't prepared to learn the Korean, it backfired on me though. I got him there last night, so trying again with renewed enthusiasm!
