I am proud to say that I decided to follow my son, Kevin’s footsteps, after his 2 years in martial arts training. When I was watching Kevin’s training from the bench, I really appreciate the efforts of Grand Master Kim, Master Ivan and all the other instructors. That was the reason I decided to sign up for class myself, I know they will be patient with me. I remember my first class when I could not even yell when Ms Paola encouraged me to yell loud. I can now yell, kick, punch, and even jump, which I cannot imagine to ever accomplish before!
Our Grand Master Kim told us this quote, “ Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”, I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to take the first step to join Tae Kwon Do in 2005, the beginning of my journey to learn more about martial arts.
I know martial arts has made me a better person physically, mentally and spiritually.
