Hardest/Craziest demos you've ever done/seen...

What are some of the hardest breaks that you've finally accomplished, or some of the craziest demonstrations that you've ever seen but would never try...

For me the hardest break I've done so far is speed breaking a brick with a sidekick or finally getting around enough on my 720 hook to break a board.

Something that I don't know if I could try is a sword demonstration the my Master does where he cuts a watermelon in half which is balanced on my head as I'm kneeling in front of him, he uses just enough force downwards to cut the watermelon completely in 2 pieces but pulls back just in time so that I never even feel any pressure from the sword on my head. Don't think I'd ever be able to trust my control of a sword that much...

ya, i really wouldn't be comfortable with that sword.  maybe if he was a kendo master who has been playing with sword everyday for 30 years...  but probably not from a taekwondo master...  


the craziest break i've done is when i was 7-8 yr old.  i went to watch my master's cousins doing demo (my master was ex special forces in korea, and his cousins were marines), and after that, with my friend, we were imitating the demo as a joke.  and i got so worked up, i actually punched the red brick.  and, i broke it.  that boosted my confidence waaaaaay up.  since then, i haven't had 2nd try on any break.  the most i've done was 7 concrete slap with straight punch and 9 with elbow so far.

My GM does a break where he holds 2 red house bricks in one hand & breaks them with the other (knife hand). He's also done one where he throws the hose brick in the air & breaks it in mid air. (knife hand)

My old master used to put an apple on the head of a BB (who wore a boxing head gear) & shattered it with a jump spinning hook kick.

that's one of the episodes from korean version of human weapon.  it was called "go soo leul cha jah suh", roughly meaning "in search of real master".  there were like 15-20 episodes all together, it was a big hit in korea back in 2002-2003.

oh ya, forgot to mention, i did a 1 inch punch and broke it last year for the first time.  working on spear hand now, can hit people pretty hard with it, just too chicken to try it on board at the moment.
