Somtimes if i perform a snap kick/front kick the snapping motion causes pain in my knee. Has anyone got any advice?

When you throw the kick are you lock out your knee? Locking it out severly can cause mild hyperextension of the knee.

Be nice to your knees!
The previous poster is right sounds like you are locking your knee. It is very common. Sometimes when we are going at full power this can happen be careful, back off of that impulse.
