Ok, don't laugh! I love Turbo Jam, it keeps me sane and its helped me while I've sprained my ankle. Don't be fooled, its pretty intense workout for aerobics. I do it while holding a 2 lb weight for something extra. I also like to do Ab Jam immediately after. On a good day, when I have no injuries, I like to do a light jog on my threadmill or a run. I could never get into Billy Blanks but I actually like Turbo jam.
Another thing I do not conciously is chasing my 2 year old around the Doojang in our basement.

Its kinda like Taebo but better! I never could get into Taebo.. On some nights you might see an informercial on it but its basically aerobics with kicking and punching. Its a very controlled kicking so for someone who trains Taekwondo might find it a bit elementary but its really a good work out. It focuses on your core muscle as she incorporates a lot of knee raises and the wheel move taken from Capoeira. Its good for off days just to keep your body moving. It claims you could burn up to 1000 calories. Here is the link: www. TurboJam.com

I primarily do weight training and 30 minutes of elliptical or exercycle (stationary bike) on most days to complement the TKD.

I hit the gym 3 times a week (well before my knee surgery) and I do cardio work on my elliptical trainer on off days. Prior to tournaments (about 6 weeks out) I will up my rope work before class and add in 1 or 2 H.I.I.T. sessions at my local track.

Seriously tho, poker's awesome for mental strength. Gotta love watching WPT tourneys I also do some jogging on and off. Watching episodes of Fight Quest and Human Weapon. (hey man, some of the techniques in there are pretty good) And there's also good ole computer games. I'm starting to love Madden 08 now
