I wanted to learn some more basic Korean and proper proununciation. Are there any good websites I could go on to learn some basics

There is nothing like getting around Korean people and listening to them pronounce the terms.  If you can't get into a training class with a Korean speaking instructor (preferably a native Korean), then look for any local events where the Korean Community gathers, and take an interest in their culture and language, or sign up for a college course or find a Korean speaking person to become friends with.

Books and websites give information, but don't usually help with the proper pronunciations.

Again, I recommend watching Korean drama. The Hallyu films are very good, receiving international acclaim and putting the Korean entertainment industry on the map.

If you can find them, any of the Korean historical pieces are good. Programs like Damo, Dae Jang Geum, and Duelist are good. TV programs include Full House, All In, Winter Sonata and others are good choices, as well.
