to eat: fresh vegetable, fruit, nuts, seeds, quality dairy products, carbs (brown, not white), and little bit of low fat meat.

not to eat: stickers on apple, plastic wrappers on fruit-rollups, frozen mars bar (i bit my tongue pretty badly).

This question is a little too generial for many of us.  I can eat just about anything I wish to and still not worry about gaining weight.  I eat 2,500-3,000 cals a day and I still stay at 150-155lbs and I am about 6 feet.

I eat high protien, high carbs through pause and drink most of my veggies as well as protein shakes and creatine drinks.

I also enjoy sweets, chips, and other said things that some people can not think about or they gain weight.

Truth be told it is seldomly what you eat that is the issue, the bigger concern is what you burn.

Since I was younger I listened as people told me that my body will start processing things slower the older I get, but now at age 30 I think those people were incorrect.  For me gaining weight is extremely difficult, but I believe my training programs have had more to do with this then the foods I eat.

I don't eat (or at least try my best to avoid) high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils.

Eat fruits and muesli bars before a grading, and drink lot's of water.

I have a banana before training if I can, and I like to have some fruit or muesli bars before a grading test.

Combined with water (not juice) I get through it ok.
