As every one knows (due to my recent forum on the topic) my english class is on peorty.  One of my ptojects was to type up 50 poems and create a booklet.  I am on nuber 40 and am suffering from a minor case of "writers block"  The project is due two weeks from now.  does anyone think they can give me some topics.  I specialize in Robert frost and edgar alan poe sort of work.  Read my recnet forum on random stuff to figure how i write and give me some advise please!  i need help.

Welcome to the world that I live in for 6 days a week.  Each person has a different way of dealing with writing.  In high school and college I was well known for being able to pull a paper out the air on the due date, that is not always the way to go.  I would recommend that you go and mediate in a park or someplace in nature and write about what you observe.  It's fall now, talk about like how the fall the leaves are the tears of death (Poeish) or if you want to be a little more like Frost, talk about life experinces and hopes for the future.

BH you are the man... in a John Wayne sort of way...

Mr. L.  go out side away from the noise as BH suggested,  hold her hand look at the stars, get that kiss...  then write about what it feels like, with out the names... remember gentlemen never tell, and if you want it to happen again, NEVER say a word, except to her, about how it made you feel.

I'm currently working on an article for a martial arts magazine.  When I get tired of writting or my creative flow is dammed, I just have to shut down for the night.

One thing I try to do is keep a pen and pencil handy so that if I do have a striking moment of insight, I can jot it down and work on it at a later moment.

just curious, what is the article about?   and it's cool you still write things down, I don't think I've written anything for a story I write or an idea on paper in at least a year.  I have a PDA with voice recoder for ideas and notes, a ditigal recorder for meetins and interviews and a laptop for everything else.  Wow how the world's change.

I'm working on an article relating to self-defense for university campus security.  As uniformed enforcers of campus policies, campus security personnel may be drawn into violent confrontations.  However, most of these young men and women are not commissioned peace officers and therefore lack the training and equipment to handle violent confrontations.  But, like unifomed peace officers, student security must conform to agency and university codes of use of force.  Because of these circumstances, self-defense instructors must carefully  consider the techniques they present and the format/schedule used to teach.

I'll let you know more as it progresses.
