I know that it isn't taekwondo, but my oldest son just took his first dan kumdo test last month and passed it. I participated in the grading (he and another student were both testing) and served as one of the four fighters that each of them had to face at the end of the test. I was the third, Master Choi was the "boss fight" at the end.
In any case, he is very stoked about his taekwondo blackbelt grading, which GM Kim has said should be in December or January.
