I jammed my hip once. I haven't broken, torn, or sprained anything, so I think i'm doing pretty well. (In my 13 years of training)

I'm going on 15 years of training (but then again I am like more than twice your age ) I have the strangest injury I suppose. I've developed a couple ganglion cysts on my wrists that doc says might be attributed to the constant punching of the heavy bag and board breaking. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganglion_cyst I also developed a heel spur from board breaking right at the back of my heel. I've bruised my ribs and had several hematomas but luckily (knock on wood) no broken bones or loose teeth!

Mine isn't "strange" considering what we do. I just had torn meniscus repaired on my left knee. Surgery was done in January and rehab is going well. I also had my plyca (still not quite sure what that is) shaved. I can start light training again in April.

I've had alot of injuries but the worst would have to be blowing my knee out torn my ACL and needed reconstruction lol.
Went to drop an axe kick and the guy just stood there and looked at it I tried to pull out of it and my supporting leg gave way.

Personally for me My worst injury (although not really an injury as such) was being knocked out cold in the World Championships, I felt like such a fool needing medical assistance in front of everyone, and there were a few people there lol!
The other one would be when I was sparring a good friend of mine at a smaller competition, we both went to do side kicks and she broke her foot, no I didn't cause it as she put her foot back down it snapped, ouch I know. I was in floods of tears thinking I had caused it as she was then wisked off to hospital me being left at the comp not having a clue what was going on. Well anyway, we are still very good friends, the 'incident' is referred to with much laughter now, even though she'll still introduce me as the one who broke her foot!!!

in 4 1/2 yrs of training, my one and only injury was ........ last may i sprained my left ankle really bad, 3 ligament sprain, and was out for 3 mos. went back taped foot, now im back only taping my foot for sparring doesn/t really like contact even now, some say it wont every be the way it was, which is discouraging but i ice and take advil, soak in epson salts (which helps a ton, diffently recommend) it is improving, it's just slow going, lesson learned when your doing jumping kicks don't land on your whole foot, stay on your toes!!!!!! (was doing fine but after like 10 times of doing my sabong chuck i guess my legs were tired!!!!!! and it just needed my whole foot for support, dang hate it when that happens) atleast im not the only one to hurt themselves on sabong chuck #10!!!!!! Hopefully this will be my only injury but im not holding my breath!!!!

The strangest injury wasn't the result, but how it happened. I was cut under my lip (needed 3 stitches). Now for the story.
I was a 19 year old 2nd Dan & sparred all the time. We were sparring one very busy night in our small dojang. Everone sparred with their partner at the same time. Everyone was always bumping into each other that night. I began sparring with a white belt in his 1st sparring class. I was showing him the basics. While sparring him, the next thing I know, I'm on the floor. I knew my opponent didn't hit me! I'd gotten hit with a side kick to my chin. The two adults next to me were sparring. One threw an off-target side kick at his partner, missed & nailed me! Neither of them admitted to being the kicker (one was a lawyer!) In fact, I trained with both of these guys for a few years after that & neither admited to being the one who did the deed.
