It depends where you are. Out here in Vancouver there's a lot of Asians because we're the biggest Canadian city closest to Asia. Out in the prairies in Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Saskatoon there aren't a whole lot of Asians. I know this because I went to university in Winnipeg.

Don't forget Banff, AB which for some reason has an unusually high Asian population. The Subway has an English menu and a Chinese menu! Probably because it is such a beautiful place... Where I live in Ottawa, there is an equal mix of just about any culture and ethnic orgin you can name. I love it because it makes for lots of great and diverse restaurants! |

there aren't too many asians living in banff. it's a small town to begin with anyway. however, there are A LOT of asian tourists going through banff. banff and rockies, and niagara fall are like THE place to visit for asian tourists.
