My internet connection isn't strong at the moment but the choke defense is something that is taught at my school(haven't seen the rest yet).  It hurts if someone does hard and fast.

I thought the guy's moustache could do some damage- I was just waiting for it to jump off his face and attack the other bloke....it looked as though it may have been alive!

Wow! People can make fun of their presentation...it was quite funny...but boy do some of those techniques hurt. If your partner isn't careful and doesn't realize the power behind them, you can accidentally do some serious damage. Trust me I've been there. That choke defense is killer.

the spot where the collar bones meet hurts quite a bit when pressed inward.

i couldn't get over the "if you wanna fight, let me take my glasses off first", as well as how it was edited on the tip on conditioning part - "i'm a smoker, a lot of people are smokers".  haha

Very entertaining. The glasses scene was great. The soda spit was amazing too. He didn't hesitate at all. It was so fearless. I want to see a little guy chug down a soda as a fight is escalating like that and just spit it in his face. It's so shocking I would almost believe it could work...anyway...

These are all very legitimate self defense techniques.

That grounded kicking technique to keep someone OFF you, if you go down, WORKS very often.

Most of the others are simply common sense.

"Do the least expected, in the least complicated way, to gain the most advantage, the fastest you possibly can."

Distract and seize initiative
Yield and counter
When in doubt, go for the throat
Keep it simple and direct

All very sound strategies to apply when all goes to hell and you 'have' to deal with a physical confrontation.

Though presented in a comedic way (a good way to get some peoples attention) the techniques are legitimate.  Many of which have been taught to Correctional Officers and LEOs for years.  And I do agree w/ Doughboy that they should be part of SD classes.  Maybe for kids old enough to understand that some of those techniques are quite dangerous.
