I agree that the tkd fighter in the vid did well; a lot of the techniques like elbows, knees and grabs etc are unfortunatley often forgotten, as they cant be used in normal competition. But he did seem to have a large weight advantage, and his the m martial artist was either inexperienced or just not thinking straight; he seemed scared, so he was keeping his distance, playing right into tkd's strength. And he really did squeal when he was swept!
Overall, its not the martial art that decides who will win a fight, sparring match or whatever. Generally it comes down to speed/ reaction time, strength and keeping a cool head.
Truth be told, I'm just happy to see a vid with someone using the whole variety of tkd techniques, as opposed to the normal stuff you find on youtube with some kid getting their asre kicked because they treat it like a normal sparing match!
