I just saw the movie, "The Bucket List" starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman on DVD.  I won't spoil the ending for those who have not seen it, but the story is about making a list of things you would like to see, do or accomplish in your life before you kick the bucket (meaning die ).

What I would like to ask everyone here to do, is to make your own list of the top ten things that you would put on your own "Bucket List."  PLEASE make your own list and post it here before reading the other replies.  This way, we can get a better sense of similarities or differences without everyone subconsciously repeating other people's ideas, or intentionally leaving some off because others have said it.  Indicate your age, and gender with your reply so we can see if there are similarities.

After you have posted your reply, and THEN read the other replies, please make a mention of this on your Bulletin Boards for all your friends to see, so that no one misses out on this, and we can get more people to cross-reference responses.  The more people who post and re-post a link to this topic on their Bulletin Board, the more it will spread throughout the tkdspace community.

This should be fun!

Male 48

1.  Own a home

2.  Do something that would make my wife and son say, "I'm proud of you".  (tough one because I have no idea what that is going to take)

3.  Test my son's children for their Black Belts (My son is currently 11)

4.  Teach TKD in my own school

Believe it or not this is it.  Being in the military and staying overseas for so long alowed me to achieve most every I could think of that I wanted to do.  I've finished my degree, written a couple of books (unpublished), tested at Kukkiwon, climbed Fuji, rode my bike to Sturgis, performed my own music in clubs in Korea and Japan, seen castles all over europe and asia , had my picture taken with a cobra in Morrocco, went to Nice Italy just for coffee, fed kangaroos and emu's in my front yard in Australia, went above the artic circle and below the equator (bluenose and shellback to my navy friends), lived with a ghost in our house in Okinawa, and was chased by the police in Telaviv (notice I didn't see that one on anyone's list).  I have a wife and son that I would do most anything for and a pretty good job.  I knock out those last 4 and you can nail the top down.

Was that hands up and chin down, or the other way around?

First of all - I loved The Bucket List.

Second - no one followed directions (hope it doesn't reflect TKD training!) LOL

I am a 33 year old female - this is my list.

  1. Help as many people as I can through my abilities - be it from education or life experience.
  2. Share all of my knowledge with my children and grandchildren...maybe by way of a diary or legacy.
  3. Make sure all those who have been in and out of my life know how much I appreciate crossing their path - no matter how brief.
  4. Travel - see as many places as I can outside of Texas! LOL
  5. Kiss a total stranger (simply for sponteanuity)
  6. Learn how to do flips! LOL backward and forward.
  7. Train at least one more horse.
  8. Train a man...LMAO
  9. Help someone go to college.
  10. Shake hands with the President.

Oh, and doughboy, do you have adhd? LOL
