well, people like my friends and i don't shoot roman candles at people who like fireworks...

Now see that I have done.  My cousins used to have a field next to their house that was sand and scrubb and, w/ my Uncle's help, we used to mount Roman Candles on boards, light them, and run around the field trying to shoot each other.  All supervised by our parents and distance was well maintained!    Back on topic I found this version on another site:

3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups dried milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup lite syrup
2 scoops protein powder

2 large egg whites or 1 egg
11/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup raisins or dried fruit and chopped

Line cookie sheet with waxed paper and preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Spread onto sheet, press cutting lines in to make 10 pieces. Bake 15 minutes untill golden brown, cut apart, then cool and wrap. Store airtight at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
