Don't have a heavy bag or room for one, but I do have one brick wall in my room on which I have mounted a makiwari board.  100 punches a day on one and 50 pushups off of my fists a day and I feel like my fists are tighter and my arms have a lot more solidity.  Anyone else here use a makiwari board?

used it at one point for about 4 years when i lived in vancouver.  now, i just use a cement wall.  did 200 straight punches, 50 hand knife strike, and 50 back fist each hand today.  calluses on my knuckles broke off and got some bloody knuckles, because i haven't punched the wall in couple months.  them knuckles are gonna be sore tomorrow.

hardening hands depending on how you work your hands. straight punch, back fist punch, hand knife, and palm strike can be done. http://www.zshare.net/download/1801603023a7abfb/ i uploaded a pdf file to zshare. this illustrates how to properly use one and how to build one for your home.

I use brick (like a fireplace mantle).  Forefist punch, knife hand, ridge hand, and palm strike.
