Loose joints caused by tendon issues can not be fixed by any pill that I know of.  If therapy and weight work are not helping to stabilize the joint, the only thing I know of that will help is surgery to tighten the ligaments and tendons.  Not something to be undertaken w/out carefull consideration...

ahhh finally something i can speak about.

for knees...  strengthing the support muscles.  ride a bike, low impact.
You can not just go to class and kick the crap out of the targets and do nothing else.

low weight leg presses lots of reps.use gravity and alter your legs.  Doughboy had a good point about resistance bands.

wear a neopreen brace over the joint.

watch your diet. less junk and chemicals. drink gallons of water or real juice, not soda.

One pill...
makes you larger...
and one pill makes you small...

oops!  Wrong topic!:P

Glucosamine is supposed to be good for joint health.  Otherwise, Sarge and Grav are right on.

Along w/ glucosamine tabs, I have read some good reviews on Cissus in the powder form.

http://www.clutchfitness.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4973
http://www.supplementjudge.com/supplements/USPLabs/Cissus-RX/reviews/43.html
http://www.planetarynutrition.com/Bulk_Cissus_Powder_p/plcissus.htm

Some of these reviews are no doubt intended to increase sales by a certain manufacturer but from the people I have talked to, it seems that Cissus in better then Glucosamine/Chondroitin.

Just an opinion though...

Will one pill make me younger?

Gucosomine chondroitin complex will help with knee/joint pain. It is over the counter - ask the pharmacist. It is often reccomended for arthritic symptoms, joint pain. It helps your body to make more of the natural lubricant needed for joints (rebuilds cartilage).

Make sure you give your body proper time to heal. Otherwise, you will have more problems when you get older. re-injury after re-injury is a bad thing.
