 (sorry not much to do with tkd) 

anyone speak korean, chinese, or spanish fluently? for a penpal typ thing? 

cause my tkd instructor wants me to speak korean because sometimes he forgets im not korean and just starts talking to me in it..lol  

or chinese cause i wanna get closer to my roots..

or spanish cause i need to learn spanish for my school ...

English/ a little bit fluent in Cantonese/ starting to learn Mandarin/

Korean....uh...just basic stuff that any TKD student would know like 1-10 and "Anyong Ha sai oh" , and "Kam sahm ni da" ,

If I was more proficient at any of the languages I know very little of, I'd be glad to help. I can read and write Korean...do I understand most of it....no. I also knew a little Chinese and German, but they rot in time. My Spanish is shaky, and my French and Russian are almost totally non-existent....but my English...is ok.

Korean - hana, dul, set, net, dassot, yassot, ilgup, yoddul, ahop, yul

Cantonese - yut, ee, sahm, say, mm, lok, tchut, baht, gao, sup.

Mandarin - yi, er, san, si, wu, liu qi, ba, jiu, shi

French - un, de, trois, quatre, cinq, sees, sept, huit, neuf, dix

I'm starting to learn Korean.  There are many Korean students at my college and they have a club that teaches Korean to anyone who wants to learn, for free.  Right now I know all the letters and their sounds and I'm just starting to learn words.
