We do different kinds - point-stop, continuous light-contact, full-contact, sometimes with low-kicks added, often a couple of boxing only rounds. WTF style very rarely.

In competition, it's typically point sparring. In class, we're training for point sparring but typically go continous. Then rotate to a new partner and go again.

Right now I only do continuous no contact sparring. We don't start contact until orange belt and then it is with pads.

We in the TAGB make use of continuous and point stop and we use semi contact so we have to control oyr techniques so no spinning backfist(darn lol). Sparring practice in class is continuous and lower belts compete in point sparring. As you get to around Blue belt you are able to compete in continuous sparring(which i prefer) so we get a healthy mix :)

When I trian for tourneys it's point sparring, but other times it's contiuous. We also with Brown and above we do two on one and three on one sparring. No contact for Blue down but light contact for Brown and above.

we do no contact one on one sparring in regular class, in sparring class it is light contact and in tournament it is balls out your going down. although we do olympic style sparring so it is points, no punching to the face!!!
