Well, most top competitors from any organisation have been photographed, recorded and so on, and you can see them all over Youtube. I can easily spot the "enemy" cameras running around the areas when my students fight, but I couldn't care less. In my opinion it's not about seeing the technique or a tactical element, but more about knowing how to teach it effectively and apply it in competition. Moreover, knowing that the other coaches do analyse videotapes with my students pushes me to find new and fresh ideas, combinations, counters, to be one step ahead of them all the time. I even once gave the DVDs from the competition we attended to the coach of another team - because he asked me to and I feel honoured that he wants to learn from watching my students.

On the other hand, I wouldn't go around giving away the footage from our competition training, but I already conducted seminars teaching people who were going to fight my students in the upcoming championships...
