Anyone going to the 2008 Hanmadang? Our Grand Master Jun Lee said that this is the first time this is being held outside of Korea so we've got a team going... It would be great to meet some of you also if anybody is going the USA TKD Jr. Olympics/Sr. Nationals in Detroit in July?
THE 2008 HANMADANG INVADES ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
The World Taekwondo Hanmadang will be held for the first time outside of South Korea on July 16-20, 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. This annual event is a unique and dynamic competition featuring numerous routines, self-defense techniques, and demonstrations, including traditional and creative forms. This event will not only develop the Taekwondo techniques of each athlete, but also enhance each, participants creativity and strength. Here's the weblink.

so... even if i don't win, i can still say that i'm going to disney land? i used to say that everytime i won a match at a tournament.

Wow, I'm excited, I thought it got pulled back to Korea though? I mean if it's in the US. How can you not go!! There will be some amazing stuff to watch even if you aren't competing.

Where did you hear that it was pulled back to Korea? Our Dojung has a team that goes every year and we haven't heard that. |

Hanmadang will be held at the Anaheim convention center in July. MOOTO USA will also have a booth there. I would love to meet the members of tkdspace in person. Come say hello to me if you are going to be there!
