what can you do to stop it of minimize it? a lot of people from my dad said has their joints pop out of place and mine also dose ... what can i do to help stop it or minimize it??

I have a kneecap that likes to become dislocated. I have to wear a neoprene brace with a hole for the kneecap. That is what I would suggest (depending on what is popping).

braces will help, but proper warm up and stretching before working out would be really helpful. not just stretching as in doing splits and such, but include cuff rotation, knee rotation, shoulder rotation, etc. because of my lower back injury, i have to do a slow hip rotation and upper body rotations before i can do anything, otherwise, sudden movements to certain direction would cause spasm.

I tore my acl, mcl, and pcl. It really stunk. I have had a lot of surgery on various joints and ligaments. I have had ankle and knee reconstruction. So I am out of martial arts.

Yeah I know that feeling it took 9 months to get over my ACL surgery. I have had major reconstruction on my knee and shoulders, various broken bones including ankles and my wrist twice in one year same place lol.
