If I were you, and this is happening on a regular basis ... I would most definitely have this condition checked out by a physician before something serious happens.

Obviously it is not normal if this is happening all the time and not only in one joint.

It could be even more serious if there is pain associated with these dislocations.

I'd suggest you see a doctor

Best advice here.

Loose joints can be genetic or caused by other things such as Ligamentatia (your ligaments stretch but are so good and returning to normal).  My wife has this condition, diagnosed by a Doctor.  Once you get a diagnosis see about rehabilitation.  If you get the ok, incorporate weight work to stregthen the muscles around your joints.

braces will help, but proper warm up and stretching before working out would be really helpful.  not just stretching as in doing splits and such, but include cuff rotation, knee rotation, shoulder rotation, etc.  because of my lower back injury, i have to do a slow hip rotation and upper body rotations before i can do anything, otherwise, sudden movements to certain direction would cause spasm.

well said doughboy!!
if you are going to any good tkd school you should be doing rotations with stretching for class warmups not just on your own before class

I have inpingment syndrome (a fancy name for my rotator cuff getting pinched when i raise my arm and tendonitis also plays a role) in my right shoulder and my range of motion is awesome because we do rotation warmups in class as well as stretching too

another great stretch we do is,,,,,,

lay on your back or stomach (we do both and i would recommend that,) but you then stretch your right hand to your left foot and visa versa make sure that you try to keep your shoulder as close to the ground as possible for max result

your actually more like bringing the foot to the hand. any way sounds weird but try it, the stomach side really stretches the lower back..

i swear by this stretch if you just have sore tender tight muscles nothing like disc trouble this stretch is great

often i do them even at home because my back is always tight and sore hopfully you will have some relief!!!! theres always muscle relaxers not that i promote pills but an advil and a muscle relaxer works great!!!!!

Are you double jointed? This often makes is easier to pop joints out of place. Unfortunately as its mainly a genetic thing there isnt much that can be done about it. The best thing is to know your limits; something that is far easier said than done! I would recommend you wear a brace on anything that is a reoccuring problem. And see a doctor!

When doing front raising kicks i feel a click/pop as if my leg comes out of the socket. It is in no way painful and wouldnt know it was doing it unless i heard it. This only happens occasionally though so im not too worried about it.

I have dislocated my arm before and my knee cap but never since.
