Thursday Class

Thursday was a bit shorter then it has been lately.  I only made it to the advanced class due to other personal things going on.  We did a blend of basics and kicking shield drills then finished the day with sparring.  I finally got all my gear replaced so sparring class was a lot better then it has been.  My instructer seems pleased where I am with my sparring at this point and I am looking forward to getting my old sparring skills back as time progresses.

Friday

I head the North West Branch with Jennifer today.  Master Boman is the instructer at the NW branch and my former instructer and making it to her class was more was a wonder experance.  She called out some interesting combinations as always and I ended up finishing off the class holding targets for the lower ranks so they woulded on round kick, spinning hook kick combinations.

Saturday

Even making it to the Saturday class at the main school was drama.  Jennifer and I left work extremely late and had to run across town to let our k9 children out for 5 minutes and turn on the sun for our baby dragons.  We spent about 3 total minutes with our children and baby dragons and ran right back out the door to attend class.  On the way we called on of our classmates to let them know we were running late and to see if they would let the instructer know.  When we got there I think we were to blurs running from the front door to the lockerrooms.  We ended up being about 5 minutes late so it could have been a lot worse.

Over all things went well this week.  I ended up sleeping the rest of the day and resting for what is about to be a even more difficult week next week.  I am making my return to the Sunday Sparring class that I have not been to in forever and Jr. Master Louis is certainly going to give us a hard class.  From my understanding the first half of class is focused on conditioning and the second half is sparring so truth be told I am sure I am going to be extremely tired before sparring even starts.
