So I have now finished my years work experience; and as such my training in manchester. When I started up there I had just gained my Green tag (7th Kup) and the week after next I am travelling up by train to Hopefully get my red tag (3rd Kup), so i'm pretty pleased with my progress, I'm still not the fittest person, but I've improved a lot. Especially technique wise.
Unfortunately this means that I will be training for my grading alone; not brilliant for things like set sparring etc, although as always, my main weakness is Korean, at which I have not really improved on (english is hard enough!).
Franky TKD has been all that has held me together over the past year, something to focus on week by week, outside of it things are ok but not brilliant; I unfortunately lost a friend to cancer a few months back, which made me realise that I had to make the most out of life (she was a year younger than me). Itll be good to get back to uni, Though I know it'll be too short lived; And I'll be back at my old club under Neil Majhu III (Soon to be IV I expect).
If any one has any advice about self training I'd appreciate the input!
