Our first overseas trip, was to South Korea, for the 2nd World Taekwondo Cultural Expo in 2008.
Boy did we have a ball. I went with my son and 8 others from our club. We met up with another 14 people from a sistering club at the airport. It took us 25 hours to get from Perth Western Australia to the motel we were ment to be staying at in Souel. There must of been some sort of mess up with our bus driver cause we seemed to be doing a lot of driving and not really getting any were. But we made it safe and sound.
I ended up winning to take the gold for my sparring division and my son ended up with 1 gold and 2 silver.
All in all we had a great 2 weeks, I think our coach wants to go back in 2010, and we will be with him.
I wont pack so many winter clothes next time.. all summer.
