Fine roll your eyes at me!!
Posted On 09/06/2008 22:43:56 by kickin_yellow

Ok see I have joint problems right and one of the older instructors was playing around and taped my knee ... but this little 12 year old black belt saw the instructor do that so he thought it was ok to kick me. But he hit my knee hard to the point I almost went to the floor and that day when I came to tkd class I was holding everything in and trying to hold my tears back from school/family stuff and when he did that I fell apart!!! I started crying he thought he hurt me but I just couldn't hold it in. I wanted to take his head and hit it agents the wall and elbow him in the face. But I didn't I just told him not to do it and when he said he was sorry, I said "it's ok I just got some family problems" and before I was even done saying it, he was walking away to go play with the other kids! WTF! I was ok with him kicking me and at least said sorry but to walk away and roll your eyes at me in a middle of a sentence! o no! he better watch out and I hope we are gonna spar cause I really dont care if he lives or dies now .. Im sorry, I give everyone my respect but when you lose it!ITS ON! And I really dont care if he is 12, if he is old enough to get a black belt he should know better. And hes one of those people that think their better then everyone and shows off but FAA!! naw hes not

There have been times when I have had those kinds of issues with a few students I've trained with over the past few years. Given the age he probably doesn't understand / comprehend his actions the way an older person would. I've gotta give you props for not being outright, and saying "YOU DID THIS!" and so fourth. Some students get the black belt and end up lacking the dicipline, sometimes both physical control and maturity (in my opinion) and sadly your situation would seem to be the end result. If it were me I probably would have told him what he did in a nice way and let the instructor of the class know. You're probably not the only person who's had to get a taste of his lack of control in that respect.

Is there any reason why you have to post this as both a blog and a forum post?
