I've been slowly changing my habits over time and I've been have been noticing results now. The weight isn't flying off but I want it to come off slowly. Just dropping out the pop has helped with about 5 lbs coming off. But i've been incorperating different suppliments in as well and they have been helping. I take "Sport" vitamins everyday, big horse pills but I've been feeling better since starting the regiment. I've also been using Arange Krusch Blue Hawaii flavor. It has some BCAA among other things that really help with keeping up with heavy workouts and it helps me focus during class. It's almost like a caffine boost but no caffine. I also have been doing the protien shakes as well. They really help with recovery after workouts.
I've also been about a month without pop and I've been feeling better. My knees don't ach. The gritty feeling on my teeth is gone and my skin has really been clearing up. I drink mostly water, even cut out the sports drinks for the most part. I've cut out most of the carbs out of dinner and eat them through out the morning and early afternoon.
I've noticed that alot of my workouts are doing a lot of converting from fat to muscle mass. I did weight lifting maxes this morning and notice that it has been going up. Not to were I was in high school but getting there. My bench finally broke the 300 lbs mark, Squats hit 650 lbs.
My uniform is getting loser all the time which is good. My kicks are getting higher but I need to learn to how excute more power with them. Also I need to start working more on combo kicks. My sparring is changing as well, I do feel better about my kicks and being able to get them above belt level but I still rely on getting close and punching.
I have a tourney this September and so it should be fun to see how well I can compete at a higher level. Plus I've emailed some people I've gone against and they will be returning. I think we are all pushing each other so it will be fun to reconect with them in Cedar Rapids.
