So many Martial Arts classes practice Eastern Religion Meditation. Since we are a Christian Karate Class we do not do that, instead we meditate on God's Word, so these are the passages with my thoughts on them for this week.

The Fellowship of the Unashamed

I am a part of the fellowship of the Unashamed. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes.

And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear for
"I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the

power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.." (Romans 1:16)

Faith means to assume something to be true that you do not know to be true; doesn't it?  Look the word up along with belief.  How then does one learn by faith?  Doesn't something like faith choke out all learning and merely makes a person mechanical in his/her thinking?  If I want to learn something but then assume some things to be true without evidence, then anything I may gain from that exploration is partial or conditional.  Truth isn't contextural, sir.

I'm glad you've got a real righteous thing going for you and I'm sure you feel great about it.  However, the fact is that these are just empty words you are using and I see little meaning behind them.  "Love by patience"?  Do you really know what love is, sir?  I hate to be the guy that is the fly in your ointment, but too often people that share my opinions have had to train with so-called religious people and be subject to their baseless declarations about this or that.  Also, many of us have had to suffer the arrogance of some of these statements along with the condescending behavior we had to endure because we didn't share in the Christians' particular brand of cultism.  So much for love and patience... Try intolerance and superstitious nonesense along with violence towards those that won't conform to your view.

I'm sure you're a nice guy and all.  Just realize that posting your personal brand of crazy on a public site will get you a certain degree of unfavorable replies or at least people that will disagree.  At least Christians haven't made free speech illegal... yet...

Best of luck to you.
