The long-awaited screen pairing of martial arts movie giants Jackie Chan and Jet Li finally arrives but not without reservations among wary fans. Tempering this momentous event are facts such as the production being largely a product of Hollywood and the lead role going to a relatively unknown Caucasian actor named Michael Angarano. With STUART LITTLE director Rob Minkoff at the helm, the film appears to be geared towards the family crowd which will undoubtedly rile fans hoping to see hardcore kung fu action. On a positive note, writer John Fusco has a proven knack for respectfully working with cross-cultural adventure themes and the endlessly creative action choreography of Yuen Wo-ping will once again be on display. Based on the latest trailer put out for English-speaking audiences, this film actually looks entertaining.
