So this is really a series of firsts for me. I have no idea where this'll take me, but i've never been one to turn down something new. So maybe a blog will help motivate me, specially when it comes down to training. So its been about, wow, a year since my last actual formal study of taekwondo. But people like me don't get better while in class, they get better when they push themselves through their own training outside the dojang. And being a college student, working as much as I ... When I talked to him, he talked about his disdain for many people. In particular, he had some sort of resent... Read More
So today, after what feels like a million hours of doing other stuff, I finally made training. Got my new yellow belt with huge green stripe through the middle, and I even beat one of my fellow graders in a mini comp to see who got a new belt and who got a second-hand one. I also learnt a new pattern tonight, Do-San. I love learning new things so this was a bit of a treat. I did have a weird confidence jitter though. Just after going through it all a couple of times, we went to... Read More
