I love watching the games every four years. It's amazing to me every time a world record gets broken. I always end up asking: Just how much better can you possible become?!
As far as TKD: The games this year had me question how I feel about the art as a sport. I saw a lot of calls I thought were way off. Many no points, and a lot of kicks to the back that ended up being scored. I was dissapointed to see Peru not medal.

Over on another MA forum, the subject of the impact that the Olympics have had on taekwondo came up. In general, in any discussion about traditional Taekwondo, the Olympics are generally frowned upon as they relate to taekwondo. Mookas recently interviewed David Askinas. One of the topics covered was the outrage behind the Olympic Trial match between Diana Lopez and Nia Abdallah
As I posted in the forum, Askinas downplayed the opinions of those who watched the video and called the judging fair.
