I have been really busy with School, Taekwondo, and trying to form a martial arts group making short films. Was in class on Tuesday evening and when we went for a water break half way through the class my two boys were whining and carring on at me (unusual but very irritating) when I got back into class I found there was no way I could focus on technique and when we did patterns I was a complete mess and forgot everything. Well I finally have been getting back to my workouts!!! A couple months back I switched my weight lifting to accomedate Taekwondo a little more. Before I was lifting heavy weights at a max of 10 reps. Now I have lightened up the weights by about an average of 10-15 pounds and increased my repetitions to 15-20. I went to training last night, this normally last around 2 to 2.5 hours, I started at 6.15pm and helped with the junior class. The adult class starts @ 6.45pm but, came 7.30pm and I felt ill, I had to leave, not just the mat but the Dojang, and went home. The feeling was not good and I felt really umbarrased, almost humiliated. I don't know what happened, perhaps lunch was to late or to heavy I don't know but to day, i feel fine and look forward to tomorrow's training... Read More
I had a lot of fun tonight. I was holding one of the small hand targets and watching students when they kick. If their arms flew up, one of the instructors had a padded battlestick and would boink them on the head (it doesn't hurt). The kids did punch-kick combos and kick-kick combos. It was fun!...
