No1) A Regular Tae Kwon Do Class
A white flame of uniforms moving as kicks flew.
Sweat dripping off of foreheads leaves a sticky stench in the dense air.
Heavy breathing coming from every direction, showing no signs of stopping.
A loud yell rips through the air.
Crack! A board snaps in half.
The sound of a monotonous applause fills the ears.
People moving, dancing in a trance-like state as the class continues.
Hands moving in repetitive patterns as forms are done.
Feet gliding on the cold, hard floor as they change stances.
The stillness when the form has ended.
The taste of sweat dripping down as sparring begins.
Heat gained from the extra protection of gear.
Eyes staring, punches flying, and steady movement.
Leaving, I feel a new confidence.
A strength, a feeling of power.
This is what happens at a regular Tae Kwon Do class.
