Master Han's Martial Arts Academy in Grapevine, Texas is a member of the World Youn Wha Ryu Association.
ABOUT ME
Like many adults, I began training after watching my kids in class. Since I was going to be at the school anyway, why not make the best use of my time and take classes too? After over three years of hard work, I earned my black belt (0 dan) in August 2008.
I trained in a Kung Fu system for about 6 months and then we moved. I could not find a Kung Fu school convenient to my new home, but we visited a TKD based school and decided it would be our new home.
So now we train at Master Hans of Grapevine and we could not be happier with the school and the family we have found there. Although my son left (at blue belt), my daughter joined and she and I are passionate about our training as she works towards getting her black belt and my next goal is 1st Dan.
This summer I started teaching and discovered how rewarding it is to share your knowledge and watch your students work and succeed. I am trying to be the best instructor I can be and I am always looking for new ideas.
